At the MSGBC Oil, Gas & Power 2025 conference in Dakar, Contango strengthened its strategic partnerships across the MSGBC basin through a series of high-level meetings and engagements.
The Contango delegation met with the Ministers of Petroleum of Senegal and Mauritania, as well as senior representatives of TotalEnergies, Shell and BP, to discuss collaboration opportunities in operations, maintenance and rotating-equipment services.
The conference brought together governments, national oil companies and international operators to align on the development of the region’s significant gas resources and the local content that will support them.
Contango’s participation underlines its strategy of expanding its footprint across Africa while building durable relationships with the operators shaping the basin’s future.
