The MOG-appointed committee confirmed the Repair Centre’s capability in gas compressor overhaul, reengineering and genuine spare parts supply.
Contango is proud to announce that its Repair Center for rotating equipment has been officially approved by a committee appointed by Mellitah Oil & Gas (MOG), following a detailed technical audit of the facility, its processes and its people.
The committee reviewed the centre’s capabilities across gas-compressor overhaul, re-engineering of critical components and the supply of genuine spare parts. The assessment covered workshop tooling, measurement and testing equipment, quality-control procedures and the qualifications of the technical team.
This approval reinforces Contango’s role as a trusted local partner for the maintenance and repair of high-value rotating machinery — reducing lead times, keeping critical spares available and restoring plant availability faster after both planned overhauls and unplanned shutdowns.
The Repair Center operates both on-site, through mobile workshops and field-service teams, and off-site at Contango’s fully equipped service workshops, using technologies such as 3D measurement, laser welding and component remanufacture with post-repair test runs to validate performance.
