Contango Strengthens Strategic Partnerships at MSGBC Oil, Gas & Power 2025

Contango was proud to participate in the MSGBC Oil, Gas & Power Conference & Exhibition 2025, held from 8–10 December 2025 in Dakar, Senegal. As one of West Africa’s premier energy events, the conference brought together government leaders, national oil companies, international operators, investors, and service providers to discuss the future of the region’s energy industry.

During the conference, the Contango delegation held a series of productive and positive meetings with senior government officials and executives from leading international energy companies. These high-level discussions focused on strengthening partnerships, exploring new business opportunities, and supporting the continued growth of the energy sector across the MSGBC region.

The Contango team was honored to meet with H.E. Dr. El Hadji Abdourahmane Diouf, Minister of Petroleum and Energy of Senegal, and H.E. Mohamed Ould Khaled, Minister of Petroleum of Mauritania, where discussions centered on regional energy development, local content, investment opportunities, and collaboration on future projects.

In addition, Contango held valuable meetings with senior executives from TotalEnergies, Shell, and BP. These engagements provided an excellent opportunity to exchange insights on ongoing and upcoming projects, engineering solutions, operational excellence, and long-term cooperation throughout West Africa.

Our participation at MSGBC 2025 reflects Contango’s continued commitment to delivering innovative engineering, procurement, construction, and project management solutions that support the sustainable development of the oil, gas, and energy industries.

The Contango delegation included Uganda Branch Director Mr. Francis Ocen, Libya Branch Director Mr. Ahmed Ibraheem, Nigeria Branch Director Ms. Oladunni Owo, and Equatorial Guinea Branch Director Mr. Gabrial.

We sincerely thank all the government representatives, clients, partners, and industry leaders who met with our team during the conference. We look forward to building on these discussions and developing strong partnerships that contribute to the growth and success of the region’s energy sector.
